Norman Samuel Seiders August 3, 1937 - MAY 11, 2019
Norman Samuel Seiders, 81, of Moberly, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his home. He was born August 3, 1937 in Minburn, IA to Samuel Alfred and Angeline N. (Harrison) Seiders.
Prior to retirement Norman was a farmer. He married Donna Barry on January 13, 1957 in Hermann, MO and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children, Ronald Seiders and his wife Kathleen and Susan Seiders Foster all of Moberly, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a brother- in- law, Jim Barry and his wife Jan of Clarence, MO, good friends, the Denton Family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Fern Opperman, Irene Moore and Naomi Tyer, parents-in-law, Claude and Mildred Barry and sister-in-law, Betty Reynolds.
Norman was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church, the Cairo Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star, many years on NERIV Fire District Board, board member for MFA Oil Co. and 28 years on the Randolph County Farm Service Committee. Norman loved farming, working, tractor pulling, fixing machinery and he especially loved his family and entertaining in his home.
Memorial contributions to the Cairo Baptist Church would be appreciated.
Words of comfort and support may be shared with the family at the visitation which will be Thursday, May 16, 2019, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Cairo Baptist Church. Masonic service at 11:30 a.m., services honoring and celebrating Norman’s life will follow. Committal prayers and burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
