Bruce "Doc" W. Linebaugh May 21, 1956 - October 11, 2018

Bruce W. “Doc” Linebaugh, age 62 of Marceline, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at his home. Bruce was born in Marceline, Missouri on May 21, 1956 to Gale Gene and Hazel Irene (Ballard) Linebaugh. He married Monica Grace Lute on May 10, 1991.

Doc worked as a mechanic and also farmed.

He is survived by his wife Monica of the home in Marceline, daughters, Michelle Smith and David, Bevier, and Crystal Lute of Ottumwa, IA, brother Brian Linebaugh, Kansas City, MO, five grandchildren, Cheyanne Smith, Brittany Boley, Joseph Smith, Meara Shain and Thea Shain, several nieces and nephews, close family and friends, one spoiled dog Zero, and 2 spoiled fur granddoggies Roxy and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Norman Stephenson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in Peden Chapel Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, October 15, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Peden Chapel Cemetery or Heart Failure Clinic of St. Luke’s and sent to 1720 N.
