September 08, 2025
Nomination period open through September 28
KIRKSVILLE & MACON, MO - This fall, local McDonald’s restaurants are proud to continue their tradition of honoring the teachers who make a lasting difference in our communities with the launch of the sixth-annual McDonald’s Outstanding Educator Awards. Nominations are now open and will be accepted online through September 28 at www.mcdonaldsmo.com/outstanding-educator.
Since its launch in 2020, the program has awarded more than $48,200 in cash and prizes to 292 educators across local schools. Each year, the recognition highlights K-12 teachers who go above and beyond, demonstrating extraordinary commitment to their students and contributing to the advancement of education.
“We look forward to this program every year because it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the incredible educators shaping the future of our communities,” said Ashley Orscheln, McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “Teachers consistently go the extra mile for their students, and we’re honored to recognize their dedication and hard work.”
Now in its sixth year, the McDonald’s Outstanding Educator Awards shine a spotlight on the educators who are adapting, innovating, and inspiring, ensuring students have every opportunity to succeed.
