MARK CHESNUTT CANCELLATION
(Jefferson City, MO) – The MU Health Care Capital Region Amphitheater regrets to inform the
MARK CHESNUTT originally scheduled at the Amphitheater on Saturday, July 20, 2024 has
been cancelled due to a health issue.
Mark Chesnutt, one of the most signatured country music voices of the 90s and a honky tonk
mainstay for more than three decades, had a heart health issue over the weekend that
hospitalized him Sunday evening, June 16; Mark underwent emergency quadruple bypass
surgery. The recuperation time will make it necessary to cancel show dates. Please respect the
privacy of the family during this difficult time of recovery.
“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the cancellation of my upcoming shows,”
announced Mark Chesnutt. "I send my love and gratitude to my family and friends, the band
and fans for your understanding, prayers and support, and look forward to seeing you all again
soon at a honky tonk near you.”
Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded and credited to the
method of payment used in the original transaction. Customers who purchased tickets through
the Hawthorn Bank Box Office at the MU Health Care Capital Region Amphitheater must return
their tickets in person to the box office for a refund. Box office hours are Tuesday thru Friday
from 11 am to 4 pm.
