Dec 16 COVID Update

December 16, 2020

The Macon County Health Department announces 39 new cases of COVID-19 in Macon County. The Health Department received 19 new cases on December 14th and 20 new cases on December 15th.

We are saddened to announced two additional deaths due to COVID-19 in Macon County. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family and friends of these residents.

New cases include: three males under 19, two females under 19, four males age 20-29, four females age 20-29, two males age 30-39, three females age 30-39, one male age 40-49, three females age 40-49, two males age 50-59, six females age 50-59, two females age 60-69, two males age 70-79, two females age 70-79, one male age 80-89 and two females age 80-89.

10 hospitalized

19 deaths

916 released from isolation

1,011 total positive cases
