Food Insecurity Day at the Missouri State Fair - Macon FFA Chapter

by Paige Bowdish, Macon FFA Chapter Reporter

The Macon FFA Chapter attended Food Insecurity Day on August 13, 2019 at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. At this event, FFA chapters around the state, along with other state staff, worked together to measure, fill, and package 128,460 meals for the food pantries across Missouri, who will distribute them to people in need of food. This is an amazing service event where everyone helps to make a difference for the people in need across Missouri. The Macon FFA members who attended were: Zak Bush, Mackenzie Hoelscher, Josh Bonuchi, Paige Bowdish, Lauren Wilson, Hunter Bergfield, Rylan Gann, Caleb Bergfield, Ashlynn Witt, and Isaac Bergfield.
