President Trump CANCELS trip to Missouri due to Hurricane Florence

President Donald Trump was scheduled to hold a "Make America Great Again" Rally in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on September 13th campaigning for Republican Josh Hawley ahead of the Midterm Elections in which Attorney General Hawley will face Senator McCaskill in the heated Missouri US Senate Race - it has now been cancelled due to Category 3 Hurricane Florence barreling toward the Carolina Coast.

The following is a release from the campaign:

New York, NY – As Hurricane Florence approaches the east coast this week, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that the Make America Great Again rally scheduled in Cape Girardeau, MO this Thursday, September 13 is cancelled.

“Regrettably, we must cancel the planned Make America Great Again rally in Cape Girardeau, Missouri this Thursday,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. “With Hurricane Florence on its way, we determined that this is the safest decision."

Important note: There has been no mention of rescheduling.
