Community Child Development Center held the annual Spring Fling on Thursday, May 23th at the First Christian Church with over 250 people in attendance. The Spring Fling celebrates and honors all the student and staff accomplishments for the year. Children sang songs, played instruments and danced for their families and friends. Each 2013 graduates assisted in authoring a book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” and read it to the crowd. Kami Mohn, Board President, presented diplomas to each graduate. The evening ended with a performance of the Community Child Development Song written by staff and performed with children and staff and a slide show of children and events. Patricia Knowles, Director, remarked, “CCDC is truly a family oriented program and would not be possible without support from families and the community. Nine of our graduates have been students at CCDC since the opening in 2008.”
